UNB Saint John Survival Guide

Vital Organs

Can we talk about sex?

  • For some people it’s a complete joke, and some people are very shy about it.
  • It’s all about respecting individuality.
  • You make your choices and nobody can tell you differently.

Drinking + sex = ??

  • This usually equal regret.
  • Sometimes you luck out, others not so much.
  • There have been cases of “I had the self-confidence to get with THAT!” but most of the time it’s more like “OH MY GOD!!”
  • Then there’s those times where you’ve drunk so much, it just won’t work.
  • Make sure you wear a condom.
  • There are some guys who won’t take advantage of a drunk girl, but they’re rare.

How attractive is a drunk?

  • It depends how drunk YOU are.
  • If you’re sober, then they’re not attractive.
  • You can see the “after” videos and it’s not pretty at all.
  • It’s very annoying dealing with a drunk, especially if they’re a mean drunk.
  • You see them out there and you say “I’m glad I’m not that guy”.
  • You don’t want to have to take care of a drunk boyfriend or girlfriend either.
  • Drunk chicks become less attractive as the night goes on.

How do you deal with a drunk coming on to you?

  • Don’t be afraid to say “I’m not going to put up with this, leave me alone!”
  • Be confident in your responses.
  • Work out signals with your friends.
  • Find a nice looking guy and grab his arm.
  • Bouncers will pretend to be your boyfriend for the night.
  • There are women’s self-defence classes in the athletic centre.
  • Do the girly thing and go to the bathroom.

Why should you always use protection?

  • It’s just stupid not to wear a condom, with all the diseases out there you’re just asking for it if you don’t wear one.
  • There’s no excuse to not have one. They’re available 24/7 from your RAs, from the Women’s Resource Centre and they’re free at all the bashes.
  • You never go out expecting to get laid so always have them on you, because the
one time you forget, is the one time you’ll need one.
  • It’s not just the guys’ responsibility.
  • Girls keep them in your purses, guys try not to keep them in your wallet.
